As we celebrate today’s 20th anniversary of the vote for independence in Timor-Leste, we salute the courage, resilience and tenacity of our Timorese friends. We reaffirm our commitment to supporting the vision of the people and government of Timor-Leste for a stable, prosperous democratic nation by continuing to partner with our friends to work toward better heart health for the people of Timor-Leste.
