After screening 125 patients in 3.5 hectic days in Dili, our volunteer medical team members are now on their way home.
It’s been an enormously successful round of clinics. Our volunteers identified a number of patients that we can help with surgery in Australia. They also had some wonderfully satisfying moments, including a reunion with a patient who received a life-saving mitral balloon procedure in Australia seven years ago, now in perfect health and planning a family.
